Python Developer
NYC, NY( Hybrid)
Long term contract
- 10 years of programming experience
- Python 6 years is must
- Expertise in data centric applications for the web
- Experience with packages: Pandas, Numpy, SqlAlchemy, Openpyxl, and Pydantic among others is
- Agility with transforming data to and from formats such as Excel, CSV, JSON, XML, Parquet, SQL, and
- YAML
- Experience with web frameworks in python (like Django, Flask or Pyramid).
- Good understanding of relational databases and ability to read and decipher stored procs.
- Understanding of CI/CD in cloud preferably azure.
- Ability to work independently and in small teams of 2-3 developers.
- A desire to take ownership of deliverable and run with it.
- Focused on testing and ensuring the code delivered is tested thoroughly.
- Independent developer who can work with changing requirements and fast-paced environment.
- Nice to have
- Experience in finance, and interest to learn mechanics of financial products.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience of Azure.
- Developing python on windows and evaluating libraries.
